I have been through hell and back in the last six weeks. I was up late one night, and like many others, I was not getting out due to COVID. I gained 15 pounds and was craving a snack at 3 am. I fought with myself by saying, you ate enough. But the devil won; I went down to heat up some leftovers. On my way back, unbeknownst to me, my ex-husband moved the leather case I put blankets in at the foot of my bed. I hit it with my foot and let out a horrible scream. I knew I broke yet another toe. The next few days, even after seeing a doctor, I was in excruciating pain. I am no longer young and easy to heal. I began to have trouble breathing and throwing up. I knew I had asthma, and I thought the pain from the toe was causing all my discomfort. After visiting my pulmonary doctor, he decided that I should get a chest X-ray.
